Most companies while trying to grow business would eventually try channel marketing to achieve their goals. With every new channel partner, there is always a chance of conflict with existing partners and internal sales teams. This channel conflict needs to be moderated as soon as possible to have a successful channel marketing program.

One of the best practices to reduce this channel conflict is by establishing a good deal registration program. This would help removing one of the main source of conflict by guaranteeing a sale to the partner who registers the deal first and is approved by you.

This also results in better communications between you and your partners, and your partners are more confident to proceed with the sale process knowing very well that the approved deal when closed would result in good returns.

To streamline deal registration and help managers to make a quick approvals possible, communities360 has an effective appexchange product in place. This product helps channel managers to quickly find if there is a similar existing lead registered already in the system with other partners or internal sales teams based on criterion’s like company name, email address, first name, last name etc.. . The manager can approve or reject a deal based on this information. An immediate notification is sent to the partner with the status of the deal when the manager approves or rejects a deal.
